Megan Joy Havrda

Megan strikes out into each of her endeavors with an exuberance that makes her a force to reckon with. Holding a Masters degree from George Washington University’s School of Business and Public Management and two Bachelors degrees in Ethnobotany and Alternative Medicine, she’s really not ever afraid of anything.  She’s worked for almost 20 years at the helm of both the social enterprise and sustainability movements as a consultant, executive and business owner in the private sector, non-profit sector, and inside Governmental and Non-governmental organizations including the US State Department, Conservation International, Counterpart International, Women’s Economic Ventures, Citigroup, and several start ups.

Maybe it was the upbringing with two “wild” New Yorker Madmen style advertising exec parents.

“My honey looked at me the other day and said, “Even your skin sensitivity is different since you had the baby”, as the skin on my arm goose-bumped to his fingertips running across my wrist.

Now many women would blush and wiggle in their seat and say “Thank you honey”. But I thought about sales.”

What We Did & Why

Our job was to create a space for Megan to be creative, play, explore and promote her way of approaching the world. The site was completed not long before she gave birth to her son, Teo, and began a new business venture. ‘Nuff said.
