Montecito Yoga
As I write this, Montecito Yoga is in transition. It is no longer located at the address where people came together to practice yoga in structured class settings taught by six to eight different instructors or at other special events and workshops for five and a half years. The building it called home is being upgraded, forcing big changes to the sanctuary studio community. The doors closed on April 1, 2106. Denise Zaverdas, teacher and studio owner, is locating new venues in which to continue the practice. She will use the website to announce events and classes she is offering in other studios.
“Montecito Yoga, nicknamed MoYo, was conceived from seemingly random events that magically coalesced into the culmination of years of dreaming, preparation and study.”
“MoYo, is the Swahili word for soul.
Whether or not the physical place where MoYo was born exists, Denise will take MoYo wherever she goes.
Denise is a talented and accomplished designer making this project a true collaboration of creative minds and technical know-how. The site is an online home that communicates the spirit, intention and the personality of the studio.
It was also a container for a dynamic online class schedule and sign up registration. We utilized MINDBODY: Online Business Management Software, to accomplish that goal.
Update: December, 2016- The Montecito Yoga has been replaced by the marvelous, newly created DeniseZ website for the next leg of her lifelong journey. Congratulations, Denise!
