La Casa de Maria is a nonprofit interfaith retreat and conference center founded in 1955 and located in Santa Barbara, California serving nonprofit organizations and spiritual communities. They serve 12,000 people each year on 26 acres of semi-rural beauty with an organic orchard and kitchen garden they like to think of themselves as a Place of Peace. A beloved sanctuary that the New York Times proclaimed as “pure splendor”.
What We Did & Why
We were approached by La Casa to redevelop their website to make it more user friendly and to communicate more succinctly the true character of their organization. Our discussions centered around the spiritual nature of the retreat center, its purpose and service. It was an incredibly heartfelt connection and we were honored to be called upon to create this communication and marketing tool for them.
