Founded in 1987, Desert Adventures is known as the most highly regarded outdoor adventures in the Greater Palm Springs area. It’s the original and the largest, eco-tour company in the California desert with a wide array of choices for an even wider array of people, styles, interests and capabilities: rugged adventure, camaraderie and team building, history and culture, nature, geology, flora and fauna, spectacular desert events, panoramic vistas, educational, interactive, one-of-a-kind activities and events. They even offer destination weddings!

What We Did & Why

Our task was to throw their existing site up in the air and land it with an entirely new look, information architecture and SEO friendly interface and underlying structure within WordPress. The company owner, is an energetic participator and it was also our goal to create a site she would easily take over and continue to grow.

Their target visitors, ages 55-75 needed the best possible user experience, a chance to learn about what Desert Adventures has to offer, why they’re the best and most experienced and ultimately have an easy opportunity to purchase is our goal.

Pairing clear, intuitive site navigation with outstanding design was critical. We prioritized enticing, attractive, fresh, clean design that retains a sense of adventure and works in today’s modern web context as well as translate well to responsive design for mobile.
