In 2009, when we first met with film producer, Heather Hudson, the first Women And The Waves film was still in production – a dream about to come to fruition. We were impressed with Heather’s contagious enthusiasm and commitment to making her first film mean something. She was taking on an important mission- to tell the stories of women in surfing. Her own passion for surfing and her love of the ocean motivates her to make films that are relevant to the female experience. In the water and on land.

What We Did & Why

Our job for both of the websites we’ve developed for Women & The Waves 1 and 2 was to create a venue that will tell the story, an experience akin to the eye-opening story of and in the films. To present the message that women have a presence in the line up and bring their unique and powerful energy to the world of surfing. The most recent iteration offers a “Buy Stuff” option.
