The Company

Carla Guimaraes, founder of Vida Natural Baking Co., is multi-talented as is evidenced by the original photography on the Vida website – she was a professional photographer and visual artist in the past – but also by the flavor and textures of her products. Having immigrated to the US from Brazil where she was born and raised, she has a deep affection for her own culture as well as strong ties to her homeland. With a growing affinity for the cultures of America, she has set out to create a company based upon personal experience, personal palette and baking skills as well as a commitment to creating a healthy company on all levels. She brings to us a piece of her culture of origin and her artistry with food.

Vida Natural Baking Company is focused on two products; Vida Bread which is a unique and personalized variation of Brazilian Cheese Bread, a long held snack tradition and Vida Sticks with a crunchiness similar to bread sticks but flavored with things like organic rosemary, Kalamata olives, chili peppers, Romano cheese, sesame seeds, curry.

What We Did & Why

Carla came to us with much of her business plans and implementation of the business nitty gritty and product development fully under way and fleshed out. What she needed from us was exactly what we are most passionate about.

We engaged in soul mining with Carla for the right feel of the public face of the company. We supported her in developing the identity of Vida, the story that would be told, even the name the company finally received.  We were tasked with logo and collateral design, text collaboration and editing and of course, the website development.
