Founded in 2006 by CEO, Dennis Schoen, and headquartered about an hour north of Santa Barbara, Researched Nutritionals® is a leader in the physician-only nutritional supplement market. The company’s research-based product development and ongoing clinical trials to demonstrate product efficacy are an integral aspect of their mission.
With its product focus on mitochondrial function, immune support, detoxification and inflammation health, physicians turn to them for their toughest patients.
The company combines a strong domestic & international sales team with a customer-centric corporate staff, providing excellent customer experience & worldwide shipping.
Why & What We Did
Researched Nutritionals® was ready to upgrade their e-commerce site which was based on an outdated custom-built platform, to take advantage of new technologies and give them access to current tools and practices. We didn’t alter functionality on a large scale, but de-bugged and added integration with their in-house systems such as Quickbooks accounting.
Requirements included Physician registration, approved patient registration, Physician codes, currency conversions for approximately 10 currencies to accommodate international purchasers.
We used WooCommerce and WordPress.
