Louise A. LaMothe has an impressive set of skills and expertise. She is an employment mediator and an arbitrator who has handled complex, international and domestic commercial matters. The list is extensive and covers multiple industries and types of mediation and arbitration. She is also a United States Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court, Central District of California (a position that does not conflict with her other official duties).
In her own words,
“Bringing extensive and varied “real world” experience to the Dispute Resolution process.
ADR eliminates the uncertainties of presenting a case to a judge or jury. The parties involved design the method of dispute resolution, and choose the ground rules. This combination of flexibility and accommodation greatly speeds the process of resolving disputes.”
This project and our ongoing relationship with Louise is a great example of the benefits of working locally and being accessible to our clients. There was an emphasis placed on our close proximity and the ability for us to meet and work together in person.
It was an inspiration to work with Louise- she was happy to share ideas about her passions with us and allowed us to move in creative directions rather than stick to the clichéd visual images so often used in practices related to law or within the justice system. Her Japanese fabrics were a perfect starting place and so very beautiful as inspiration. The use of a wheel abstraction is indicative of the work she does in conflict resolution.
We designed Louise’s logo and the website.
