The Show
2016 marked the 71st SB International Orchid Show, a non-profit that celebrates the rich agricultural and orchid-growing history of Santa Barbara County. With visitors from around the world who return each year, it is a prestigious event that includes grand orchid displays, orchid art, photography and floral arrangements as well as a large array of workshops and demonstrations.
What We Did & Why
The Orchid Show turned to Fat Eyes to bring their outdated website into the 21st century. They needed not only a fresh, rich visual experience for their visitors, but an improved application, registration and entry process for exhibitors, instructors and vendors. We created a new UX that stands out as showcase for their stunning photography and offers ease of use for each subsequent year’s complex levels of planning. Additional development features are ongoing.
